David C. Noderer
Mr. Noderer holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Rochester Institute of
Technology with graduate and continuing education courses from University of
Rochester and Northeastern University. His career has spanned more than 25
years holding technical, management and marketing positions in engineering and
marketing at Prime Computer and Encore Computer. During this time he led
architecture, hardware and software design teams through multiple generations
of multi-processor computer system development and deployment.
During the past fifteen years, Mr. Noderer has turned his attention to microcomputer
and client server markets specializing in custom applications using Microsoft
development tools and platforms. In 1994 he founded Computer Ways,
Inc., to pursue Windows based application development. He is a Microsoft
Certified System Engineer + Internet and Microsoft Certified Solutions
Developer, Microsoft Certified Database Administrator, certified in SCO Unix
and trained in quality (Crosby) work process development.
Custom applications developed have spanned a wide range of companies and
functions from single person shops to Fortune 100 companies. The application
functions include accounting, payroll, club management, executive information,
marketing research, dynamic web design, call center automation, automated
inspection, and general office automation. Tools used include Visual Basic,
Access, Microsoft Office, SQL Server, Visual Studio and .Net.
Speaking topics have included "Visual Basic Performance", "On-line Services for
Consultants", "Introduction to Web based tools" , "Integrating the Enterprise",
"Visual J++", "SQL Server 2000", "Making the most of the Virtual Office" and
"Microsoft Databases".
Mr. Noderer is a technical editor for Osborne / McGraw Hill having edited the
"SQL 2000 Developers Guide".
Mr. Noderer is President and CEO of Computer Ways, Inc., Microsoft Most Valuable Professional, Founder and Treasurer of the Florida Dot Net User Group,
past director and treasurer of the Gold Coast Users Group, Founding Board
Member and Treasurer of the Florida Chapter of the Internet Society, member of
the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers for 26 years, Former Trustee of
the Greater Ft. Lauderdale Chamber of Commerce and member of Leadership Ft.
Lauderdale, Class VIII and member of the Deerfield Beach Leadership program.
